Sarah Mastrorocco

Sarah’s first job ever was testing chocolate and peanut butter in a Hershey’s chocolate factory. She considers herself a grocery nerd. As Head of Instacart’s Retail Business Development, Sarah builds and develops sustainable partnerships with local, regional, and national retailers. Sarah, along with her team, has formed over 160 partnerships with brick & mortar retailers.

Prior to Sarah’s current role, she led Instacart’s Catalog team: building, acquiring and maintaining all product content as well as coordinating initial and on-going synchronization with retailers’ internal sales systems. Her work scaling and transforming this team earned her a 2016 Top Women in Grocery Rising Star recognition.

Prior to joining Instacart, Sarah was a part of Frito-Lay North America’s Strategy and M&A group focusing on incremental growth opportunities.  She then transitioned to PepsiCo’s Global Operations Group where she developed initiatives to drive efficiencies across its direct store delivery operations in North & South America.

Sarah received her Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
