The host hotel for the 2017 CGA Strategic Conference is the Renaissance Palm Springs Hotel, which is directly adjacent and connected to the Palm Springs Convention Center. Located in scenic Palm Springs California at the foot of the San Jacinto Mountains, the resort offers a uniquely upscale experience including spacious guest rooms, cosmopolitan spa and is just a short walk to downtown Palm Springs. The Hilton Palm Springs and Courtyard Palm Springs will serve as secondary hotel options and are both walking distance to the convention center.

Deadline

All reservations must be received by end of day on September 1, 2017, to guarantee availability and conference rates.  After this date, reservations will be made based on availability and hotels may charge higher rates.  After September 8, 2017, new reservations should be made directly with the hotels.  The Renaissance Palm Springs Hotel (760-322-6000); Hilton Palm Springs (760-318-8536) or Courtyard Palm Springs (760-322-6100).

Deposit

All reservation requests must be accompanied by a credit card guarantee or check equaling the amount of one night’s room and tax for each room reserved.  Your credit card will not be charged during this initial stage and will be held as a guarantee only.

Acknowledgement

Orchid Event Solutions will send reservation acknowledgments within 24 hours if booked online or by telephone; fax and mail acknowledgments will be sent within 72 hours of receipt. If you do not receive your acknowledgment in this time frame, contact Orchid Event Solutions.   You will not receive a written confirmation from the hotel.

Cancellations/Changes/Refunds

Reservations canceled after September 1, 2017, and prior to 24 hours before arrival date will be subject to a $25 cancellation fee for each room canceled, charged by Orchid Event Solutions. Deposit of one night’s room and tax will be forfeited entirely if cancellation occurs within 24 hours of arrival date.

Through September 18, 2017, send requests for changes and cancellations in writing to Orchid Event Solutions via email or fax to (801) 355-0250. After September 18, contact hotels directly to make changes and cancellations.

Hotels will assign specific room types upon check-in, based on availability.

Hotel Suites

If you are interested in booking a hotel suite, please email help@orchideventsolutions.com. There is a limited number available at a discounted rate for CGA attendees.

Requests are subject to approval from CGA Show Management. It is our policy that Conference attendees are not allowed to sponsor any functions that conflict with a scheduled Conference event. This applies to events held in hotel suites, meeting rooms and at any outside location.

Orchid Event Solutions, CGA’s only Official Housing Company is coordinating hotel reservations for the conference. When you book your room with Orchid Event Solutions you will receive the following benefits:

Warning: Beware of Housing Poachers

There is a possibility that you may receive a fax, e-mail transmission or phone call that offers you cut rate housing for the CGA Strategic Conference.  The intent is to convince you that the offer is made on behalf of the California Grocers Association or the CGA Strategic Conference.  This is not the case.  Many associations and show organizers have become the unwitting victims of these room block poachers who secure attendee company names to solicit business.  DON’T BE MISLED.  These companies are NOT representatives of the California Grocers Association.
